2008 "Lot One" Barbera - San Benito

What can we say about our Barbera? One of the fastest sellers, this vintage continues to dazzle the palate. The Tres Pinos area of San Benito County continues to produce some of the best Barbera in the state. Why do you think we get it there?

The deep garnet color sparkles with clarity as the wine hits the glass. The nose is full, with ripe black fruit - The essence of earth and oak barely emerging. The palate is engulfed with flavors of ripe cherry, boysenberry, and nuances of spice,  vanilla, and pepper. The finish is supple, with soft tannins and  bright acidity.
