50% Sangiovese, 30% Tempranillo and 20% Barbera. Soft watermelon and Raspberries on the nose followed by a fresh finish.
The Sangiovese comes from the Hearthstone vineyard and the Barbera comes from the Glenrose vineyard both in the Adelaide district of Paso Robles. The Tempranillo comes from the Patricia Dianne vineyard in the Estrella district of Paso Robles.
The Barbera and Tempranillo were pressed directly off skins. The Sangiovese had 6 hours of skin contact, resulting in the very bright pink color of this rose. All ferments were conducted separately and all allowed 2 days to cold settle before being racked off lees and starting fermentation naturally. Not fined or filtered.
